Milo Yiannopoulos expresses shame over Trump support after ICE deportation
Milo Yiannopoulos has stated that he feels ‘ashamed’ of voting for Donald Trump after being deported by ICE to the UK, reports BritPanorama.
The controversial figure claimed he was “swarmed” by agents from Homeland Security, who allegedly mistreated him prior to his deportation last week.
In an appearance on Piers Morgan Uncensored on September 1, Yiannopoulos recounted, “The first I heard of it was when 15 agents swarmed me at the Louisiana airport, and it didn’t get any less theatrical from there on.”
He criticized the process as “not normal or lawful,” asserting he experienced “brutality” and treatment so severe that some agents reportedly “walked off the job.”
According to the Department of Homeland Security, “On August 28, ICE deported Milo Yiannopoulos, an illegal alien from the United Kingdom, back to his home country.”
The DHS highlighted that Yiannopoulos received a final order of removal from an Immigration Judge on July 22 after failing to attend his immigration hearing.
Yiannopoulos, who previously edited Breitbart News, had garnered attention for his work with former Georgia representative Marjorie Taylor Greene and for supporting Kanye West’s 2024 presidential bid.
His past comments regarding ICE have resurfaced amid this incident, including a tweet from June 2025 where he stated, “We are going to find out that there are over 50 million illegals in the United States.”
The reaction on social media was immediate following the broadcast of his interview. One commenter remarked, “Translation: ‘I liked it happening to other people but didn’t like it happening to me.’”
Others noted the irony of his situation, with one post stating, “The shock of people when they are finally—and, they believe, unjustly—treated the way they demanded other people be treated is getting rather old.”
Another observer remarked on Yiannopoulos’ track record of cruelty toward others, suggesting, “This man has shown nothing but cruelty towards others. He only cares about himself.”
