Kim Kardashian apologises to Martin Brundle at Singapore Grand Prix

Kim Kardashian made amends with Sky Sports’ Martin Brundle at the Singapore Grand Prix, saying sorry for the now-infamous moment she ignored him during the Monaco race weekend earlier this summer, reports BritPanorama.

The 45-year-old reality TV star playfully reached out to touch Brundle’s arm as she addressed their awkward encounter. “Did I not know the rules? Did we get off on the wrong foot?” she said with a laugh.

Beyond patching things up with Brundle, Kardashian expressed confidence in her boyfriend, Lewis Hamilton, 41, regarding his performance in the iconic Singapore night race.

The entire saga kicked off back in June when Kardashian was trackside in Monaco to cheer on Hamilton. Brundle spotted her alongside sister Khloe on the grid and attempted to interview the pair, only to be ignored in a moment that resonated as awkward for viewers worldwide. Fans quickly branded the interaction as “rude,” sharing their opinions on social media.

Kardashian was keen to avoid a repeat incident when Brundle asked her thoughts on Formula One. “I think it’s amazing and fun and wild and something I’ve never seen before. It’s amazing,” she remarked. Regarding her boyfriend’s chances, she added, “I’m just praying for the best tonight. Yes, (he is) very confident and so am I; just got to pray for the best.”

The couple began dating earlier this year, having known each other for years before their romantic involvement. They were first spotted together checking into a luxury hotel in the Cotswolds in late January. Since then, they have enjoyed time cycling around London and a romantic trip to Paris, making their relationship official on social media.

Hamilton previously shared insights regarding their relationship during the Silverstone race in July, when a fan inquired about his happiness, hinting at Kardashian’s influence in his life. The seven-time world champion confirmed, “Yeah, that’s a good one. Of course, it’s Kim.” He has also met Kardashian’s four children: North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm, whom she shares with ex-husband Kanye West.

As the lights dimmed and the engines revved, this curious off-track reunion serves as a reminder of the ever-blurring lines between celebrity and sports, with every twist igniting the public’s fascination.
