Olympic champion Adam Peaty and his wife, Holly Ramsay, have revealed they are set to become parents for the first time, with a daughter expected to arrive in December 2026, reports BritPanorama.
The 26-year-old influencer shared the announcement on Instagram on Saturday, displaying a photo of her baby bump. “Baby Ramsay-Peaty coming December 2026. We can’t wait to meet our baby girl,” Holly wrote in the caption.
This joyful news comes just six months after the couple exchanged vows in a ceremony at the historic Bath Abbey on December 27, 2025, followed by celebrations at Kin House in the countryside. Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay and his wife Tana are set to become grandparents for the first time when the baby arrives this winter.
Gordon expressed his delight, commenting on the announcement: “Congratulations to you both sending lots of love Dad I’m going to be a very over excited Grandad especially this Christmas.” The post attracted well-wishes from various high-profile figures, including the Beckhams.
Victoria Beckham and her son Romeo were among those offering their congratulations on Holly’s Instagram announcement. The 31-year-old swimmer has been warmly welcomed into the Ramsay household and reportedly refers to Gordon and Tana as “dad” and “mum”.
However, the pregnancy announcement also comes amidst family turmoil for Peaty. He has been embroiled in a bitter dispute with his estranged relatives since November, when it was revealed he had barred his parents, Caroline and Mark, from attending his wedding. The couple were excluded from the Bath Abbey ceremony despite having supported Peaty throughout his swimming career, with only his sister Bethany present.
Bethany has previously spoken about feeling torn between her loyalties to her brother and parents amid the ongoing rift. His estranged family have accused Peaty of exploiting his connection to the famous chef by registering for the upcoming Commonwealth Games in Glasgow under his married name, Adam Ramsay-Peaty.
A source close to his parents told the Daily Mail: “As much as Adam wants to be a Ramsay, he is not. He is a Peaty.” They alleged that the athlete is “cashing in on the Ramsay name because it opens doors,” suggesting he is “playing a role.” The insider remarked: “Adam may be rich but we have something that he hasn’t and that is brains, loyalty, integrity and family. Fame is but fleeting but family is forever.”
As the anticipation grows for the arrival of their daughter, one can’t help but reflect on how even in moments of joy, family dynamics can weave a complex narrative — a reminder that the world of high-profile personal lives is never devoid of its own intricacies.
