Tommy Fury claims breast milk boosted his physical power
Tommy Fury has made the extraordinary claim that drinking Molly-Mae Hague’s breast milk caused his arms to “double in size” — and he reckons it’s all down to human growth hormone, reports BritPanorama.
The 27-year-old boxer and former Love Island star dropped this revelation on the latest episode of his BBC podcast What The Fury?, which he co-hosts with his father, John Fury. He recounted a moment when Molly-Mae had just given birth to their daughter, Bambi, and he decided to taste the breast milk, proclaiming that it is a “real growth hormone” rich in “goodness.”
Fury claimed that the milk dramatically enhanced his physical capabilities, mentioning that his “power went through the roof” and that it added “another inch” to his arms, labelling the substance “fantastic” and asserting it contained “real HGH there. Human Growth Hormone.”
John Fury, however, expressed his disbelief at his son’s claims, stating, “I’d rather eat six tarantulas,” and reacted incredulously when Tommy indicated that the milk was simply sitting in a bottle in the fridge, left over from Molly-Mae’s milk expressing sessions.
Despite his father’s reservations, Tommy defended his actions, asserting the nutritional value of breast milk and questioning why a grown man should not benefit from its properties. He insisted, “I still need the nutrients. Can never do without any nutrients.”
John promptly reminded him that he is not a newborn baby but a 27-year-old man. In a playful exchange, Tommy described the milk’s taste as resembling “almond or soy milk” and challenged his father’s judgment, saying, “Listen, you can’t call me for drinking breast milk after just eating a tarantula.”
The scientific consensus does not support Tommy’s claims, as research shows that breast milk contains only trace amounts of HGH, tailored primarily for the metabolic development of infants. Dietitian Amie Alexander from Nutri Peak stated that the antibodies and proteins found in human milk are unlikely to benefit an adult bodybuilder, noting that breast milk is relatively low in protein.
Tensions aside, Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague first met on Love Island in 2019, finishing as runners-up. Engaged in 2023, they have two children: three-year-old Bambi and baby son Midas, born in June 2025. The couple faced a brief split towards the end of 2024 due to Tommy’s excessive drinking but confirmed their reconciliation in May 2025.
As for the supply of breast milk, Molly-Mae recently announced that she ceased breastfeeding Midas after three weeks, wishing to “stop on a high” and cherish the experience positively, rather than causing resentment through prolongation.
