Christian Horner cools speculation on Alpine comeback

Christian Horner has downplayed rumors of a possible return to Formula One with Alpine, stating, “Right here, right now, I don’t see that at Alpine. All of those teams should be striving to win, and obviously they’re all very different in character and make-up,” reports BritPanorama.

The Red Bull Racing team principal acknowledged that if a suitable opportunity arises, he would consider it seriously. “If the opportunity opens up, I’ll certainly look at it very strongly. But if I don’t, then I’m comfortable with that,” he added.

Horner has been in the spotlight promoting his book, *Drive*, discussing his aspirations regarding team management and influence within the sport. He emphasized the importance of having the right conditions to make a significant impact, highlighting his desire to “turn the lights on” at a team.Formula One opportunities are always shifting, and Horner’s comments underline the complexities of team dynamics in the highly competitive racing environment.

A recent wave of interest was piqued by his positive remarks about Ferrari. However, he clarified that his praise was intended to acknowledge Ferrari’s storied legacy in the sport rather than signal any potential collaboration or rivalry.
