Kyle Walker and Annie Kilner welcome baby daughter Royal Wish
Kyle Walker and his wife Annie Kilner have welcomed their fifth child, a daughter named Royal Wish Walker, maintaining a family tradition with names starting with the letter “R,” reports BritPanorama.
The former England and Manchester City defender and Kilner, parents to four sons, Roman, Riaan, Reign, and Rezon, shared that their new addition will be affectionately known as Wish. This decision adds to the family’s unique naming theme.
Friends of the couple expressed their joy, stating, “Wish is adorable and the parents are smitten. It’s the perfect name – they couldn’t have wished for anything quite so perfect.” The family now feels complete, they noted.
Kilner, 33, has taken to Instagram to share glimpses of their daughter after keeping the newborn out of the public eye. She accompanied her posts with heartfelt messages about the significance of the name, declaring, “We wished, we waited, and then came you.. So wanted, So loved.”
This arrival marks a significant moment for the couple, especially after overcoming challenges in their relationship, notably following revelations in late 2024 regarding Walker’s personal life. Walker subsequently issued a public apology for his past actions, stating, “I’ve caused a lot of pain to a lot of people. What I’ve done is horrible, and I take full responsibility.”
With the birth of Royal Wish, the couple is now focusing on their family life, speaking to a transformative period not only marked by joy but also by their commitment to one another in the face of adversity. A reflection on how personal trials can lead to the creation of new beginnings — a reminder that love often garners resilience amidst life’s complexities.
