“I was just sort of stuck in neutral for most of the week. Even par over the weekend is not going to get it done,” McIlroy said. He acknowledged that while winning a major is an achievement, he hasn’t taken the time to properly celebrate his victory at the Masters. He plans to focus on spending quality time with his family during the upcoming summer holidays.

I won’t pretend to be up here and defend Bryson. I’m not particularly fond of him,” he remarked, addressing the disruption DeChambeau caused during the tournament.
