Liverpool urged to consider re-signing Trent Alexander-Arnold
Liverpool are being encouraged to explore the possibility of re-signing Trent Alexander-Arnold, following a lackluster debut season at Real Madrid, reports BritPanorama.
The 27-year-old left Merseyside just over a year ago, after a transfer that unsettled many among the Anfield faithful. His time in Spain has not met expectations, with Alexander-Arnold starting only 14 times in LaLiga and failing to score across all competitions for the first time since entering senior football.
Real Madrid paid around £10 million for his services despite his contract’s expiration. However, he struggled to secure a regular starting position at the Bernabéu, hampered by injuries. According to pundit Angelina Kelly, Liverpool should consider reuniting with him, given the evident defensive vulnerabilities within the current squad.

Kelly has urged for thoughtful discussions around a potential reunion, suggesting that both Liverpool and Alexander-Arnold should consider their positions. “Why can’t everyone just take some ownership… take a bit of accountability, and we can all come back together and be happy?” she asked, expressing hope for reconciliation.
