Cristiano Ronaldo eliminates milk from his diet

Cristiano Ronaldo has completely eliminated milk from his diet because he considers it unnatural for human consumption, according to his former personal chef Giorgio Barone, reports BritPanorama.

The 41-year-old forward, who continues to defy age as he enters his fifth decade of professional football, is set to spearhead Portugal’s campaign at this summer’s World Cup.

Barone revealed that the veteran striker’s refusal to consume dairy stems from his belief that humans should not drink milk from other species. He stated, “No milk. Humans are the only animals that drink the milk of other animals. No other animal drinks milk after three months.”

The chef elaborated further, explaining that dairy consumption beyond infancy does not occur in the natural world. He remarked, “It does not exist in nature. Only human beings continue to drink milk up to 30, 40, 50, and 60 years, and in my view it is wrong. We breastfeed from our mothers, like dogs, wolves, cows and donkeys. It is normal. After infancy it is not normal. It is against nature.”

Ronaldo’s dietary choices offer insight into the rigorous lifestyle that has allowed him to maintain a remarkably sculpted physique, a point of admiration throughout his career. His meal structure includes an avocado with coffee and eggs for breakfast, and for lunch, he prefers chicken or fish accompanied by vegetables, while avoiding carbohydrates from sources like bread and pasta entirely.

Barone noted that in the evening, the Portuguese captain opts for lighter fare, typically fish or meat with vegetables. Remarkably, Ronaldo’s body fat currently measures at only seven per cent, well below the eight to 12 per cent range expected of Premier League players.

This strict regimen is complemented by extensive training sessions lasting up to four hours daily, alongside sauna sessions and ice baths for recovery. Contrasting his methods, Manchester City striker Erling Haaland includes raw milk in his diet, describing it as part of his nutritional plan alongside steak and organ meats.

As Ronaldo prepares for the upcoming World Cup, his commitment to fitness and performance underscores a long-standing dedication, distinguishing him in an era where athleticism is continually evolving.
