It is currently unclear if the man sustained any injuries. Social media users claimed the individual had been sitting in the home end and had angered nearby supporters by reacting to Arsenal’s late winner. West Ham believed they had snatched a vital equaliser when Callum Wilson fired past David Raya. However, celebrations were cut short after a lengthy review. Officials concluded that Pablo Fornals had impeded Raya in the build-up, leading referee Chris Kavanagh to disallow the goal after consulting the pitchside monitor.
