Knight emphasized the impact of available historical narratives, stating, “Our knowledge of Victorian London is more informed by Dickens than by any historian.” This approach enables him to craft compelling stories that, while potentially imaginative, are grounded in historical realities.
In A Thousand Blows, viewers are introduced to Moscow’s rivalry with East End kingpin Henry “Sugar” Goodson, played by Stephen Graham, who becomes embroiled in Moscow’s journey to the championship.
