US novelist David Baldacci is recognised as one of the world’s most popular writers of suspense and legal thrillers, with his books translated into over 45 languages across more than 80 countries. Baldacci’s debut, Absolute Power, released in 1996, became an immediate success and was adapted into a film directed by Clint Eastwood. To date, he has authored more than 50 novels, including seven intended for younger readers, reports BritPanorama.
His latest book, Hope Rises, serves as a follow-up to last year’s Nash Falls. Additionally, All In, the most recent title in his 6.20 Man series featuring former army ranger turned detective Travis Devine, is set to be published in November.
Baldacci has been appointed as an ambassador for the UK’s National Year of Reading 2026 campaign, dubbed “Go All In”, which seeks to inspire more individuals to explore the pleasures of reading.
