Wayne Rooney has poked fun at his chequered past by claiming he is already on his third “doghouse manual” in a revealing first look at his family’s new reality series, reports BritPanorama.
The former Manchester United and England striker, 40, is reprimanded by wife Coleen after staying out late with friends during a family holiday in the trailer for The Real Rooneys. “It’s meant to be a family holiday. You can’t keep doing what you do,” Coleen expresses, making her frustration clear.
As the trailer progresses, it shifts to the couple’s sprawling Cheshire mansion, where Wayne attempts to laugh off the dispute. “The doghouse manual… I’m on my third book,” he jokes, suggesting a light-hearted acceptance of his domestic challenges.
The footage offers a candid glimpse into the lives of Rooney, Coleen, and their four sons—Kai, 16, Klay, 13, Kit, 10, and Cass, eight.
