Tyson Fury vows to knock out Anthony Joshua in December showdown
Tyson Fury has pledged to knock out Anthony Joshua in their anticipated bout scheduled for December, following a recent match where Daniel Dubois decisively defeated Fabio Wardley, reports BritPanorama.
Promoter Frank Warren, who represents both Fury and Dubois, expressed optimism about a potential unification fight following the Cardiff event, although he did not confirm that the winner would immediately face the WBO champion.
The Queensberry stable also includes IBF title holder Filip Hrgovic and newly crowned WBC champion Agit Kabayel, presenting several possible avenues for unifying the heavyweight division.
After Saturday’s match, Warren stated, “All those names are there to do a unification fight next year and that’s what we’ll be working on.” When queried about whether Dubois could meet the victor of Fury versus Joshua, he remarked, “Well, that remains to be seen, but what can you do with these fights? You can only keep making the best fights.”
The forthcoming clash between Fury and Joshua, both prominent figures in heavyweight boxing, underscores the sport’s high-stakes dynamics, where ambition and rivalry often collide, proving that the lure of glory can elevate even the most contentious partnerships into arenas of anticipation.
