Boulter took to Instagram to tag her Australian husband, asking, “@alexdeminaur wanna play mixed with your wife?” His cheeky reply was, “@katiecboulter sorry I’m already set… [eyes emoji and smiling emoji].” Boulter’s one-word response was equally humorous: “@alexdeminaur divorce.”
The couple had recently celebrated a low-key wedding in a small church in Old Woodhouse, Leicestershire, close to Boulter’s childhood home in Woodhouse Eaves. De Minaur drove a black Porsche Carrera to the ceremony, with Boulter by his side. A family insider confirmed that the guest list was tightly restricted to close relatives, creating an intimate atmosphere. After the ceremony, the couple celebrated at a local pub, resonating with their preference for simplicity.
This personal approach was further reflected in their comments about the day. De Minaur remarked, “It was an amazing time. [It was] everything we could have ever imagined. It was like our own little movie.” He added they enjoyed a brief, two-day honeymoon before returning to the realities of their professional tennis careers.

After a confirmation from journalist Ben Rothenberg, it appears she will use de Minaur privately but continue to compete under her maiden name on the WTA Tour. On social media, her handles are already reflecting this shift, as she now appears as Katie de Minaur on X, albeit with her Instagram bio still showcasing her birth name alongside her new initials “KDM.”
