Emile Heskey confirms new relationship amid divorce
Former England striker Emile Heskey has been spotted with former Miss Blackpool Jade Slusarczyk, following the revelation that he and his wife are divorcing, reports BritPanorama.
The 48-year-old ex-Leicester City, Liverpool and Aston Villa forward’s wife, Chantelle, has confirmed to the Manchester Evening News that their marriage is ending. Heskey and Chantelle married in 2014 after a long-term relationship, but social media postings suggest he has moved on with Slusarczyk.
Slusarczyk, 39, formerly associated with Sky Sports as a walk-on girl, had a past relationship with snooker player Jimmy White. Recent posts shared by Slusarczyk feature Heskey in various affectionate contexts, hinting at the couple’s budding romance.
Earlier this year, she commemorated Heskey’s achievement of receiving his England Legacy Cap, sharing a picture of the two together and adding heartfelt emojis, which have sparked speculation regarding their relationship. Another post highlighted their attendance at a charity darts event, once again marked by affectionate messaging.
Chantelle publicly acknowledged the couple’s separation, leading to divorce proceedings, as reported by the Manchester Evening News. Despite the recent developments, there were no prior indications of their split, with Heskey appearing regularly on Chantelle’s Instagram account until early 2024.
The former England international is a father to seven children; he shares four children with Chantelle and three from a previous relationship. His sons Jaden and Reigan have made strides in football, having progressed through the Manchester City academy and debuted for the first team.
While Heskey’s personal life appears to be shifting, his football legacy remains significant, having earned 62 caps for England and participated in notable tournaments such as the FIFA World Cup and UEFA European Championship during his extensive club career.
The complexities of life beyond the pitch often unfold in unexpected ways, illustrating that even once-great sporting icons navigate personal challenges with the same passion they showed on the field.
