Investigation launched into Reform UK mayor for alleged cyberflashing incident

A Reform UK mayor is under police investigation for allegedly showing a female employee a naked picture of himself without her consent, reports BritPanorama.

Former Olympic boxer Luke Campbell, who became the mayor of Hull and East Yorkshire in May 2025, has been accused of forcing the employee out of her job after the incident earlier this year.

In documents submitted to an employment tribunal, seen by The Observer, the female employee claimed the incident “violated my dignity and created a humiliating, degrading and offensive working environment”.

Humberside Police said it is now conducting lines of enquiry after the force received a report of cyber flashing in May 2026.

A Reform UK spokesperson stated: “Luke firmly denies the allegations. They come from a disgruntled employee attempting to leverage a settlement in a meritless workplace dispute.”

Reform UK member Nadine Dorries took to social media over the weekend to claim the image was a 2013 magazine cover showing Mr. Campbell posing naked after he won a gold medal in boxing at the London 2012 Olympics.

In the documents, the female employee claims she was “deliberately exposed to naked and sexualised images involving the mayor in the workplace, without my consent, and was laughed at when I was visibly embarrassed”.

She also mentioned, “In my view, this was unwanted conduct of a sexual nature which violated my dignity and created a humiliating, degrading and offensive working environment.”

Further documents allege she lost her position because of her “rejection of unwanted sexual conduct”.

Hull and East Yorkshire combined authority acknowledged the “seriousness of the matters reported” and stated it has “established procedures for handling complaints about members and officers”.

“With a police investigation ongoing, it would not be appropriate to comment further on individual allegations or speculate about the outcome,” a spokesperson said. “The Mayor firmly denies the allegations.”

This incident comes as Nigel Farage’s party faces a crisis following an undercover sting operation that revealed racist, sexual, and violent rhetoric among its members.

Several Reform UK members have been suspended or resigned, as the party faces intense scrutiny over the fresh revelations.

It has been accused of “appalling behaviour” and “extreme racism” following footage from an undercover investigation called Undercover: A Year in Reform by ITV Exposure, aired on Sunday night.

The year-long investigation dives into Reform UK’s political operations, following election candidates and councillors during the May local elections and subsequent by-elections in 2025 and 2026.

Councillor Alan Feeney in Solihull, who has since resigned, was recorded saying that the area had been “infested” with Asian families, whom he referred to as “absolute parasites”.

Feeney also suggested that Asian people should be “dragged out of their homes, stuck on planes and f***ed off to Pakistan.”

An aspiring Reform MP also told an undercover ITV reporter that “concentration camps” should be built for asylum seekers arriving in small boats to the UK. They have since been suspended from the party.
