The ongoing situation regarding the Scottish Communities Cup tie between the club and Tayport has prompted multiple efforts to rearrange the match, reports BritPanorama.
The club stated, “We have explored every possible option to find a suitable solution that would allow us to play the tie outwith a Saturday afternoon as our schedule is already full.” This includes potential adjustments to league fixtures and South Challenge Cup ties.
Further options discussed involved the possibility of travelling to Tayport midweek, scheduling the match on a Friday night or Sunday afternoon, or even playing the Communities Cup tie immediately before or after an upcoming Lowland League Cup fixture.
Additionally, the club expressed a willingness to forfeit their share of the gate money to mitigate any inconvenience caused by the fixture rearrangement.
