The 19-year-old’s exceptional form was evident throughout the match in Blackpool, following his earlier record-setting average of 113 and a nine-darter against Nathan Aspinall. Despite Rock’s commendable performance, which included an average of over 100, Littler’s scoring power proved insurmountable.
After the match, Littler expressed that he believes competitors will need to produce extraordinary performances to overcome him. “As long as I’m playing like this and producing these numbers, it’s going to take something special from another player to beat me,” he said. The teenager emphasised his commitment to consistency and focused execution.
