Clinton Morrison backs Crystal Palace for Europa Conference League glory
Clinton Morrison has backed Crystal Palace “to go all the way” in the Europa Conference League and pick up their first major European honour, reports BritPanorama.
Palace cruised past Shakhtar Donetsk in the semi-finals of the competition, comfortably winning 5-2 on aggregate after a decisive 2-1 victory in the second leg on Thursday night. A strike from Ismaila Sarr and an own goal off Pedrinho secured the win for Oliver Glasner’s side, setting up a final at the end of the month against Rayo Vallecano.
Morrison believes that “Palace are definitely in the mix” for the final, stating: “They can go all the way.
