Russian missile attack on Kyiv kills one, injures several
A Russian missile attack on the Ukrainian capital Kyiv killed at least one person on Monday and damaged a metro station and medical facilities, reports BritPanorama.
Mayor Vitali Klitschko stated on Telegram that preliminary information indicated one fatality occurred near a supermarket, with seven others injured across the city.
There were reports of a strike adjacent to an underground station, with unofficial Telegram channels posting images showing damage to the station and a tram.
Klitschko noted that explosions shattered windows at two medical facilities, and an emergency crew member was reportedly attacked while responding to one of the strikes.
Witnesses reported a series of explosions that disrupted the city, with power outages affecting districts on the east side of the Dnipro River.
Moscow has long denied that it targets civilians.
