Oliver Glasner has declared he will not “stand in the way” should his Crystal Palace squad believe he is not the appropriate manager to guide them through the remainder of the campaign, reports BritPanorama.
The Austrian’s position came under scrutiny after urging supporters to “stay humble” following a draw in the Conference League on Thursday. This remark incited a response from the Selhurst Park crowd, who humorously chanted “1-0 to the humble boys” after substitute Evann Guessand scored a late winner against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
This victory marked only Palace’s second win in 16 matches across all competitions, providing much-needed relief for both the manager and the team’s followers.
