The two parties reached what has been described as a “consensual separation agreement,” under which Rahm relinquishes all monetary and economic claims against the league, reports BritPanorama.
Before this arrangement, the Spaniard was LIV’s largest unsecured creditor, with £5.7m of his contract still owed after the organisation filed for bankruptcy last month.
In return for walking away from the substantial sum still due to him, Rahm is understood to regain full control over his name, image and likeness rights.
That includes reclaiming his popular “Rahmbo” moniker and the “Legion XIII” team brand under which he competed throughout his time on the tour.
