Jessie Ware prepares for her first arena tour
Pop star Jessie Ware is gearing up for her first proper arena tour, aiming to infuse her performances with a sense of “filth, honesty and humour” as she embraces the larger stage, reports BritPanorama.
At 41, the mother-of-three is determined to transform the intimate vibe of her popular podcast, “Table Manners,” into her live performances, where she envisions audiences dancing, sweating, and laughing together. Her career has evolved significantly since her début album, “Devotion,” released in 2012, establishing her as a respected figure in the music industry.
Much of her recent success can be attributed to the popularity of her podcast, which has been running since 2017. On it, she invites a variety of celebrities to share meals at home, creating a relaxed atmosphere that allows her to connect with them personally. Notable guests have included Paul McCartney and Sadiq Khan, with memorable moments such as Ed Sheeran’s four helpings of sausages and Kylie Minogue bringing her own wine.
As Ware’s confidence grows, so does her popularity. Her sixth album, “Superbloom,” released earlier this year, has become her fastest-selling record, peaking at number two on the UK charts. This album marks the final installment in a series that incorporates vintage disco and a revived sense of sexuality in her music. Recent singles like “Ride” have been met with enthusiasm, showcasing her playful approach.
During her recent tours, she has embraced a more theatrical style, incorporating props and dancers, which has led to a sense of empowerment she finds liberating. Ware recalls using a whip during performances, initially viewing it as ridiculous but eventually embracing its empowering aspect.

Ware, born in Clapham, south London, is the daughter of renowned journalist John Ware and social worker Helena “Lennie.” Despite their divorce when she was ten, they instilled strong work ethics in their children. Ware attended Alleyn’s School, sharing classes with future pop stars, and after studying English literature at the University of Sussex, she briefly pursued journalism before fully committing to music.
In her personal life, Ware has a long-standing relationship with her husband, Sam Burrows, and has shared a glimpse of her life as a mother.
