Tyson Fury’s upcoming bout sees ticket prices plunge
Boxing fans eager to witness Tyson Fury’s return to the ring can purchase tickets for as low as £10 on resale platform Viagogo for his fight against Arslanbek Makhmudov at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on April 11, reports BritPanorama.
This represents a significant decrease from approximately £55 for the cheapest resale options just a week prior. The low-cost seats are situated at the back of the arena with restricted views, while premium ringside tickets remain priced over £2,000.
Despite the availability of thousands of seats, sales are reported to be sluggish. Just over two weeks ago, around 12,000 tickets were still on the market. For those who prefer to purchase through official channels, Ticketmaster lists seats starting at just under £44.
Fury’s bout marks his return to the ring following two consecutive losses to Oleksandr Usyk last year and comes after what was his fifth retirement announcement in January. He previously drew a full crowd at the Spurs stadium in December 2022 while defending his WBC title against Derek Chisora.
His opponent, Makhmudov, holds a record of 21-2, with 19 of those wins by knockout. The heavyweight fighter last appeared in the ring against David Allen in October 2025. A strong performance by Fury may reignite hopes for a trilogy bout with Usyk, although skepticism surrounds the former champion’s potential resurgence.
Fury’s father, John, has voiced concerns regarding Tyson’s well-being, stating in an interview with Playbook Boxing that he will not attend the fight. John Fury lamented his son’s condition post-Deontay Wilder trilogy, saying, “Tyson has been gone since the Deontay Wilder fights; they finished him.” He added, “Makhmudov is a problem for Tyson. I am the first one to say it.”
As the fight date approaches, the glaring disparity between ticket prices and anticipated attendance raises questions about Fury’s drawing power and the state of boxing’s heavyweight landscape.
