Mohamed Salah confirms departure from Liverpool
Mohamed Salah has confirmed his decision to leave Liverpool, concluding a significant era in the club’s history, reports BritPanorama. The Egyptian forward announced through a video message on social media that he will depart Anfield at the end of the current campaign.
In a heartfelt address to supporters, the 33-year-old stated, “Hello everyone, unfortunately, the day has come. This is the first part of my farewell. I will be leaving Liverpool at the end of the season.” Salah expressed his deep appreciation for Liverpool, saying, “I never imagined how deeply this club, this city and the people would become part of my life.”
Having joined Liverpool in the summer of 2017 from Serie A club Roma, Salah has become one of the most prominent figures in the team’s history. The club confirmed that an agreement had been reached regarding his departure, concluding his remarkable tenure at the end of the 2025-26 season.
