Mikel Arteta expressed feeling “exposed” after being approached by an autograph seeker while sitting in his car with family outside the Emirates Stadium. Arteta declined the request as his vehicle remained stationary in traffic near the stadium. Three years prior, Arsenal had reviewed security measures regarding players and staff due to concerns about autograph hunters aimed at selling signed memorabilia.
Commenting on the incident, Arteta stated, “I always try to be very respectful. I love to sign and (take) photographs as much as we can. I think it’s part of our role.
