The 23-year-old quarterback has made a notable impact in the NFL, guiding the Patriots to their first Super Bowl appearance since the departure of Tom Brady. Maye is only the second-youngest signal-caller in history to start in this premier event, following Dan Marino.
Drafted third overall by New England in 2024, Maye quickly distinguished himself, earning Pro Bowl recognition in both of his first two seasons. This year, he finished just behind Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford in MVP voting, with a narrow five-point margin.

He has brushed off concerns over physical condition despite a challenging performance in the snowy AFC Championship against Denver. Maye set a franchise record for completion rate in a game, surpassing even Brady in several respects, and further solidified his status by defeating three top-five defences en route to the Super Bowl.
