Chris Eubank Jr announces he’s expecting twin boys
Chris Eubank Jr has revealed he is set to become a father of twin boys, just days ahead of his rematch with Conor Benn, reports BritPanorama.
The boxing star made the announcement during a BBC show that aired recently. The 36-year-old thanked his father, Chris Eubank Sr, highlighting their repaired relationship in recent months. Their reconciliation was notably marked when Eubank Sr appeared unexpectedly at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium before his son’s fight with Benn in April.
During his announcement, Eubank Jr expressed a desire to be a different type of father than he had experienced, stating, “I want to start that next chapter in my life. You’ve got two grandsons that are on the way.” He further reflected, “I never thought about being a father for my whole life, I want to be the type of father who can talk to me about anything. I couldn’t do that with my old man, I couldn’t.”
Eubank Jr’s excitement was evident when he shared, “I will soon be joining the dad gang. Only difference is I’ll be joining as a father of two! Twin boys!! I’m so grateful for such a blessing & I will do my absolute best to give them the happiest upbringing I possibly can. Just like my old man did for me.”
His father reacted with pure excitement upon receiving the news. Eubank Jr has opted to keep his partner’s identity private to protect their privacy.
This announcement adds an emotional layer to his upcoming bout, reminding fans of the intertwined nature of personal and professional lives in the world of sports and boxing.
